Therapy that is as unique as you are.

You don’t have to accept feeling emotionally disconnected and overwhelmed as normal.

Whether you are coping with a major life transition, experiencing burnout, or struggling through grief and loss- you are not alone.

As women, we are often conditioned to put our needs last. When perfectionism and anxiety take over, disconnection and loneliness can begin to overshadow our ability to be present and find joy in the people and the things that we love. It doesn’t have to be this way.

You deserve to feel seen, understood, and valued.

In an open and inclusive therapeutic environment, we can unwind the unique experiences and perspectives that inform how you approach your daily life. A dynamic approach to counseling allows you to be a collaborative and contributing participant in your own healing and growth.

It’s okay to choose yourself, I’m here to help.

I’m Kayla.

When you crave connection and healing, it can be hard to know where to start. That’s why I’m here!

As a trauma-informed licensed clinical social worker, it is my goal to help women find authentic connections within themselves and in their relationships. I believe that a one-size-fits-all approach to counseling limits the potential for growth.

It is an honor to come alongside women when they choose to prioritize themselves and their healing.

Self-care doesn’t always look like a massage and online shopping (I wish!) but choosing this deeply important work is the first step to creating a life with more joy and authenticity.

Specialties:

01. life transitions and burnout

When perfectionism and anxiety take over, the ability to remain present and grounded can be difficult. Transitions in life, even when positive, are disruptive. Reducing stress and finding ways to cope can help to break the burnout cycle and empower you through change.

02. perinatal mood and anxiety disorders

What is commonly referred to as ‘postpartum depression’ fails to recognize the 20% of birthing folks that experience an increase in anxiety and/or depression symptoms during pregnancy and up to the first year following delivery. At a time in history when pregnancy and parenting feel more overwhelming than ever, it’s important to feel supported. Let’s identify triggers, establish ways to cope, and create boundaries that allow you to manage symptoms and optimize energy.

03. grief and loss

Grief is a full-body experience. Together we can create space to process and integrate loss into your life while also identifying ways to offset the more disruptive symptoms of grief. I use mindfulness-based models to honor your experiences and assist you in navigating the transitions that naturally arise from losing someone or something that you love.

More growth, connection, and joy is possible.

You don’t have to figure it out alone.
