Frequently Asked Questions
How long will I need to be in therapy?
You are unique, and so are your experiences and perspectives. Determining the length of therapy is an individual and dynamic process that is impacted by your needs, circumstances, and commitment to the process.
As an active and contributing member of therapy, your work both in sessions and outside of them plays a crucial role in your personal development and growth. By integrating what you discover in therapy into your daily life, you are more likely to see an improvement in symptoms and make faster progress towards your goals.
As a therapist, I value frequent check-ins to evaluate ways to refine our therapeutic relationship to best fit your needs. By allowing sessions to grow and change alongside you, determining the amount and length of sessions will be tailored to your progress.
How does teletherapy work?
Teletherapy is provided via Google Meet, which is a HIPPA compliant video conferencing platform. Just like an in-person session, we will be able to see one another and create a productive and healing therapeutic environment- just from the comfort of your home (or car, or office…) Teletherapy provides you the flexibility to work counseling into your busy schedule and life.
Do you offer in-person sessions?
I am currently available for limited in-person appointments at the Healing Hive GR in Eastown.
Do you accept insurance?
I am exclusively providing services for a private pay fee or as an OON provider. If you have insurance or use an HSA but would still like to receive Collaborative Counseling services, I can provide proof of treatment (a superbill) for you to submit to your insurance provider for reimbursement.
My private pay fee is $140 for 50 min sessions, some sliding scale flexibility is available. If you have more questions, please send an email to contact@grcollaborativecounseling.com.
